Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic
We will no longer be offering a Walk-In Clinic on Mondays. Patients can access walk-in clinic services at
Geraldton District Hospital on Wednesdays
from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Respiratory Health Management
Improving
management and control
of COPD or Asthma through education and medication management.
Diabetes
Management
Supporting patients with diabetes through quarterly HbA1c checks, education, DEP referrals, and collaborative care planning.
Hypertension
Management
Assisting patients with hypertension in achieving target blood pressures through early detection, education, diet, and medication.
Weight
Management
Assisting patients with obesity and weight
related problems
achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
Smoking
Cessation
Helping smokers who want to quit or reduce smoking by offering one on one counselling, and nicotine replacement therapy.
Sexual Health Program
Offering STI testing, birth control education and prescriptions, cervical cancer screening through Pap tests, pregnancy testing, and comprehensive sexual health counseling.
Prenatal & Postnatal Care
Supporting mothers through pregnancy and postnatal care with health monitoring, breastfeeding assistance and recovery guidance.
Well Baby
Visits
Routine well-baby visits include physical exams and publicly funded vaccines. We ensure that parents and children are supported and that children progress well through developmental stages.
Diabetic
Footcare
Providing routine foot care assessments, identifying signs of ulceration, providing quality foot care and education on self‐care for patients with diabetes.
Immunizations & Injections
Please ensure your prescription is filled before your appointment. Services include, immunizations, allergy shots, B12 injections and prescribed injections (e.g., mental health, hormone)
Wound
Care
We provide care for pressure ulcers, post-op wound infections, and wounds after excisions or biopsies. Services include suture and staple removal, along with wound care education for self-care and at-home dressing changes.
Medical
Checks
Comprehensive medical checks required for various purposes such as employment, driving licenses, and other certifications. These examinations ensure that individuals meet the health standards necessary for their specific roles or activities.
Spirometry
Program
A lung function test, called spirometry, will help confirm whether or not you have a lung disease. This is a non-invasive breathing test that measures the amount of air a person can force out of their lungs and the rate at which the air is forced out.
